Throw Pillows

Throw Pillows...I love Throw Pillows. A lot. For whatever reason, they always seem to light up the atmosphere in an otherwise drab space, especially when wisely used with colors that are appealing and cool relative to the surrounding curtain and furniture ensemble.
You can walk into a Fashion Designer's changing \ consulting room or into an otherwise serious environment like the office of an I.C.T firm's Programmer, and still experience a warmth and a feeling of comfort which can be largely attributed to a sense of wanting to pull that fluffy and attractive little pillow lying comfortably on the couch.
Although much of a space's comfort and atmosphere is largely a result of the total effect of different contributing factors and materials in the space, however, throw pillows just have a way of making a space more attractive. Be it a living room or bedroom or on a floor or even an office. They are just an embodiment of oh-so-glorious-softness. Not to mention "pillow fights" won't be the same without them. I'm sure all the 'girlfriends' are grateful to them...wink. Lol. I'm sure they are.
Throw pillows come in variety of shapes; there are the regular 18" square ones, the candy shaped ones, the heart shaped (love those), the cylindrical and the circular shaped ones. And apart from their aesthetic function, they can also be used to prop up the head or back or even the feet and for many other indigenous uses. Plus you can get the in various materials from silk to cotton, faux suede, fluffy cotton, linen and hemp and have them designed to suit you. With writings or embroidery on them.
Do try to light up your space today by adding throw pillows to your overall space design. I'm sure you'd love them.

Below are some pictures of interior spaces with throw pillows;

The monotone is
totally what got to me. Makes you want to lie
down and dream beautiful dreams. :-D

Completely fell in love with the
way the throw pillows are used to compliment and add to the
living room's calm look.
